David Brand - Managing Director BA FIA ASA

David brings over 30 years of life assurance and reassurance experience to the operation. He has been a member of our senior management team ever since he joined the company in the late 80's and has been instrumental in managing the successful growth of our company. During his time at the company he has been directly responsible for every area and has utilised this strength and knowledge to create a dynamic and forward thinking reassurer.

As Managing Director, David is our main point of contact with the Hannover Re Group in Germany with responsibility for the overall management, strategy and liaison with our shareholders. He continues to play an active role in our marketing and business development and maintains a high profile in the marketplace.

In addition to his role within Hannover Life Re (UK), David was involved in voluntary work for the Actuarial Profession for many years and until recently was a member of the Council of the Institute of Actuaries.
