David Brand - Managing Director BA (Hons) FIA ASA
With over 30 years' experience in life assurance and reassurance, David joined us in the late 80s and has been a member of our senior management team ever since. In that time, he has been directly responsible for every area within the business.
David's knowledge and leadership have been instrumental in the company's success, helping to make us the dynamic forward-thinking reassurer we are today.
As managing director, David is our main point of contact with the Hannover Re Group in Germany and holds overall responsibility for management, strategy and liason with our shareholders.
He also plays an active role in our marketing and business development and maintains a high profile in the marketplace.
Outside Hannover Life Re (UK), David has been involved in committee work within the industry and voluntary work for the actuarial profession, where he was previously a member of the Council of the Institute of Actuaries.
