Neil Cheetham - Chief Actuary BSc (Hons) FIA
With more than 20 years’ experience in direct life assurance and reassurance, Neil is Hannover Life Re (UK)’s actuarial function holder.
As Chief Actuary, Neil has overall responsibility for our Actuarial Division. This includes all aspects of our pricing strategy, maintaining an appropriate research program and conducting actuarial investigations to ensure that we offer our clients the best possible reassurance terms.
In addition, Neil has a key role in steering our valuation, planning and modelling processes, taking due account of investment strategy and capital management issues within the legislative framework.
Neil also liaises regularly with the Hannover Re Group, providing embedded values and statutory and group reporting.
