Joanne Wells - Head of Actuarial Pricing BSc FIA

Joanne has over 15 years experience in the reassurance industry and has worked in various actuarial roles, ranging from financial reporting to research and pricing.  She is a member of the CMI Mortality Graduation Working Party and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Critical Illness Claim Trends working group where she plays an important part in shaping the future of critical illness products within the industry.

 Joanne is responsible for the development of the company's pricing strategy.  Her role includes research into factors that affect the price and design of products and reassurance.  She is also responsible for ensuring that treaties are appropriately priced, working closely with clients to ensure that we offer the best reassurance terms possible.  She believes that it is important that our reassurance service continually evolves to meet our clients' changing requirements and she works closely with them to achieve this end.
