Julie Hopkins wins Lifetime Achievement Award
Julie Hopkins, Head of Underwriting & Claims Strategy at Hannover Life Re (UK) was honoured with the Protection Review ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the Protection Review Dinner on 25th June in London.
Her passionate dedication to the industry and willingness to promote her craft were the reasons for her being chosen for this prestigious award. Julie has worked within the life and health business for over 35 years. She has always been actively involved in numerous life and health assurance industry groups and working parties where she has played an active role in influencing and shaping our industry.
Much of Julie’s achievements over the years have been completed while at Hannover Life Re (UK). She was a committed player in getting the ABI CIC standard definitions to market and has always publicly extolled the benefits and advantages of moving to severity based products.
Julie never stops looking for new initiatives and ways of providing access to more individuals; recently she helped a leading company launch an HIV+ benefit on Term products.
